About Saturday

 What a long day! I had to wake up at the crack of dawn for a full-day training. After the training, I remembered it had been a while since I’d had any booze. So, I decided to have a drink and get it out of my system. 

I went to a restaurant touted for its homemade Toddy (Malaysian coconut wine). The waitress offered me a glass to wet my whistle while she prepared a bottle for me to take home.

To get back, I had to switch from the train to the bus. To my surprise, the usual bus route was closed, and it took a different path. The traffic was bumper to bumper. After two hours, I got off one stop early and walked home.

But finally, when I got home, a scrumptious dinner was waiting for me. It’s the little things that make life easier.
